January Green Drinks @ Collier Construction Harper Street Recycle House
This month Green Drinks will be hosted by Collier Construction at their 408 Harper Street recycled house location. The existing houses were demolished and recycled or ground into mulch and topsoil to make room for 6 new green, energy efficient homes. Collier strives to build homes and commercial properties of the highest quality, environmental sensitivity and durability.
SweetWater Brewery, based in Atlanta, will be providing beer for the event and is excited to be a part of green building initiatives in Chattanooga.

Anybody know when the October Green Drinks will be? The last Wednesday of the month is Halloween, my personal favorite holiday of the entire year.
I had a great time last night @ Green Drinks, I hope everyone else did as well. I was asked a few times last night about the history of the building that H+K Architects are housed. Craig was kind enough to give me some history to share.
"Our building was a chemical distribution warehouse until maybe 10 years ago. It was purchased by Corky Coker and leased to Bruce Case at Construction Consultants. Bruce converted the loading docks to the deck in place now, and subdivided the building into suites which we now occupy. He occupies the rest of the building with his architecture/construction business. We designed the interior fit out for a 1500sf space, then expanded to a 3,000sf space, and then again to a 4,500sf space. The great thing about our space is the daylight we get. We only need to turn the lights on after dark or on gloomy days."
